A Walk Around the Lake

It all started with a walk around Christmas Lake in 2016. The lake is shaped like a heart, and I felt inspired to stitch its outline onto a pillow, complete with the lake name and a heart-shaped button to mark the home (you are here!). One pillow turned into an idea – this is the perfect gift – with 10,000+ lakes in Minnesota, why not try other lake shapes and the business took off! Creating has always been a part of my story. I’ve been sewing since third grade, thanks to my mom, and designing since my first career in graphic design.

Pillow Factory

These days, I sew out of my home studio, fondly known as “the pillow factory”, where creativity never stops. While lake pillows are my first love, I also love to create Custom Baby Pillows, Wedding and Holiday pillows, and any truly custom idea you want to bring to life. If you can dream it, I can sew it. Every piece is custom-made with cozy materials and thoughtful details, stitched with the stories that make a house feel like home.

Quality is so important and that is why every pillow is custom-made with thoughtful details and filled with a quality down insert. I purchase small batches of upholstery grade fabrics so the inventory is never the same. My excellent embroidery equipment ensures the best stitches on every product. You will truly have a one-of-a-kind product.

Giving Back

Giving back and supporting the community is second-nature. I support My Very Own Bed, a Minneapolis nonprofit providing new beds and bedding to sweet kids. You will also see my pillows at many silent auctions around town.
